The coming weeks and months should bring a lot of change to this country. We've got our pawz crossed that it will be positive.
Some immediate change is obvious and staring us in the face.
Distraction will come easily with so many things around that need attention.
It will take a great deal of focus and concentration to get this country back on track.
Opportunities will have to be pounced on immediately.
Strong words and a loud and confident voice must be heard by the American people and the world. There will always be skeptics in the background...
...but we must move forward strongly and confidently.
Best of luck Mr. President. We're counting on you. Don't screw this up.

A note on our Mom. She can be weird sometimes. And she likes doing silly crafts. Silly crafts are normally cool and fun, and, well, silly, until you end up as the main subject matter of said silly craft. And in this instance - the “you” is Daphne and I. Please see the interpretation she has below of us playing ball with Dad. Dad is the dude dressed as a penguin. The second pic is Daphne and I getting ready for a snowball fight. And if you are wondering why no one has eyes it is because she says eyes are too tough to cut out of construction paper without precision tools, of which she has none. Don’t know whether to get her some which would in effect encourage the habit or steal all her construction paper. Hmm….I don’t even want to know how much time she spent on this. 
Any way - I guess it is the thought that counts so THANKS MOM for always thinking of us.

Oh noes! How did you get up here? You aren't supposed to be on this side of the gate! Bad puppeh!
When on get on the same level as the puppehs they really go nutz! HAHAHAHA! I sit where they can get me just long enough to drive them crazy!
Then I jump to someplace they can't reach me. These days though there aren't too many places like that.

Sadly the few inches of snow we got on Tuesday is slowly melting away. Mom and Dad let us have a fun play in the front yard at lunch yesterday. Pruett really loves the snow! It made him a little CRAZY! Click here to watch.

For some reason the humans think that us dogs need to be contained and restricted to certain areas of the house. The object below appeared several days ago to help achieve the goal of containment. It has a nifty little door for the kittehs (sadly they don’t always like our company). Mom and Dad set it up in a wider opening using the extensions but it couldn’t contain the fun of us GSDs so they moved it to the smaller opening in the stairway.
Daphne and I can squeeze through that kitteh door if we are on the downstairs side (FYI - the humans do not like this tactical move) but the humans have informed us that soon our fun will be over as we grow every day and will no longer fit. Why do they always have to ruin the fun. We added a link over on the right in the Favorite Things area.
Oops! I was caught on the wrong side of the gate. The problem with sneaking upstairs is you can't fit through to sneak back downstairs. :)

Snow is a rare occurrence in North Carolina. We got to enjoy a lot of it over the holidays in New Hampshire but were pretty certain we wouldn’t see any until next winter. ..

We had another fun play date with Tyson and Maddie this weekend. We are growing so fast and I think it was a bit of a shock to them and their humans! Thank you to Maddie and Tyson’s parents for letting us come over and play. You have such a wonderful backyard and it is SOOOO much FUN to run around with the grown up dogs.
Mom took lots of pics so I’ll recap the day with photo highlights.
O-Tang wasn't too interested in going for a play date. He says that two doggies is ENOUGH!
First Mom helped me up into the Tahoe. I was so excited ~ I got a little squirmy! :)
Daphne has been a little scared of car rides lately. I keep telling her that she will have fun. She's worried she is on her way to get "fixed" and runs and hides. Mom tracked her down though.

Daphne is working hard at being brave with new people. I'm proud of my lil sis. She's come a long way.
She isn't afraid to get in on the action now!
Sometimes she'll sit out a round - but usually it is just someone trying to sniff her butt. Ew guys - that's my sis!
