Indulge my sensitive and sentimental side. Look at Vera Lynn and I as wee pups. This was before my sister came along. We were just two pups in field. We knew we had something special between us. We’d be best friends forever.

10 weeks old

10 weeks old - we knew we'd be best of buds

Here we are today. Having as much fun as ever. Vera accepts that I can’t be monogamous, and she can’t have my babies anyway so it works out ok. We just play tug of war and snuggle on the weekends (a pretty sweet deal if you ask me). She is great with Daphne and plays gently with her and runs and plays tag outside. But when it is our turn we growl and snarl and play tug so rough it would make any dog scared!

Here we are - a year later - still best of pals!

Daphne doesn't like to play quite the same way as we do, but we love her all the same.

Halloween Costumes

We had a fun weekend and Vera Lynn came to visit. We went to pick out a costume at PetSmart. I think our favorite shown below is pretty scary and ear flattering.

I’m In Love

Vera Lynn came to visit this weekend. She is the perfect mix of rough and tumble and sweet and sensitive. She could play tug with me with a full on mean face and loud growls, then go outside and run and play with Daphne (who we all know is a little…sensitive to say the least). We took her to our favorite spot - the lake! This was her first swim but she wasn’t scared. She jumped right in and played like one of the pack.

She found an awesome, stinky skeleton to roll in! Sigh...so perfect...

A Visitor This Weekend - Vera Lynn

Vera Lynn is coming to visit this weekend. You can read about our past adventures here. We are all the same age and got to meet as pups.

What does everyone have planned for the weekend?

We had our friend Sophie over yesterday.

She is as tough to photograph as I am! We had a great time and got to play all day! Sorry for the pic quality - taken with the folks phone - lazybears!

Next week we are headed to visit all our friends at Shepherds’ Ledge Farm! So we may not be able to post but you can bet we’ll have some awesome pics when we get back - it’ll be a Shepherd Partay!

Hello there! I have to share with you the newest, latest, greatest toy on the market. My parents call it a brick. It is pretty heavy so a super brain twister to try to pick up - I think it is from the Puppy Einstein series - and a funny shape so you have to turn it just so to fit it in your jaws. I like to just roll it around and drag it about. Ask you parents for one today! Especially fun to play with in the mornings to get your brain going!
